Adverse weather conditions overnight caused power line breaks and damage to electricity networks in the Odesa region, leaving parts of several districts without power.

That is according to the regional power supply company DTEK Odeski Elektromerezhi, Ukrinform reports.

The company said that overnight on January 31, severe weather across most of the Odesa region led to snapped wires and damage to power grid components due to ice buildup.

As of the morning of January 31, customers remain without electricity in the Podilsk, Berezivka, Rozdilna, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, and Odesa districts. In Odesa, power supply is being maintained for critical infrastructure facilities.
