President Zelensky invites OECD representatives to join Ukraine’s recovery process

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes the opening of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Office in Ukraine will be an important step in terms of cooperation.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, following his meeting with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The opening of the OECD Office in Ukraine will be an important step in our cooperation. Everything that is currently being done and planned in Ukraine is aimed at the victory and future reconstruction of Ukraine. I invited the OECD representatives to join the recovery process,” the President of Ukraine wrote.

Zelensky also thanked the OECD for recognizing the prospect of Ukraine’s membership in the Organization.

A reminder that earlier OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann confirmed the opening of the OECD Office in Kyiv from March 1, 2023.
