Ukrinform
Ukraine received from the competent body of Türkiye the approved quality certificate required for the unhindered import of Ukrainian fish products.

This was reported by the press service of the State Agency of Land Melioration and Fisheries of Ukraine, as seen by Ukrinform.

"From now on, Ukrainian producers of fish products have new opportunities to sell their own products - the export market to Türkiye has opened," the report says.

The State Fisheries Agency adds that work on promoting Ukrainian fish products to the foreign markets continues.

Also, the agency recalls that an online survey is currently underway to analyze international markets for the export of Ukraine-made fish products, within which businesses can determine the priority international markets for opening and the domestic range of fish products prioritized for export.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in 2022, Ukraine exported 8,400 tonnes of fish, fish products, and other aquatic biological resources, which is 34% below the figures reported in 2021, when 12,600 tonnes were exported.

Ukraine exported the largest volumes of fish products to Moldova, Germany, the U.S., Denmark, and Lithuania.
