Tymoshenko announces launch of City Express in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro

"On behalf of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, we are actively involved in the development of suburban train services. We are currently working with a number of world-renowned companies on the City Express project. Kyiv City Express will be launched first, followed by routes in Kharkiv, Dnipro, and other cities," Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the President's Office, coordinator of the Great Construction project, posted on Facebook.

According to the Deputy Head of the President's Office, the main principle of suburban train services is "fast, convenient, comfortable and with respect for passengers."

On February 22, President Zelensky announced the implementation of the City Express high-quality suburban train service project. The launch of the City Express project in Kyiv with renewed trains is scheduled for August.
