The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in partnership with IT Ukraine Association has expanded the IT Export Boost project to promote exports of IT services of Ukrainian companies in 21 countries.

Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (CDTO) Dmytro Senik said this during an online meeting with representatives of the IT industry and foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports with reference to the ministry’s press service.

"At first, there were 14 countries, but later we received proposals from our embassies that asked to include them in the project to promote the Ukrainian IT sector in the world," said Senik.

Priority export markets for Ukrainian IT companies are Austria, Great Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Israel, India, Spain, Canada, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, USA, Finland, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Sweden, Uzbekistan and Japan.

Ukraine's diplomatic missions in these countries will assist Ukrainian IT companies in establishing contacts with potential customers from both the public and private sectors.

In addition, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs is planning to organize a number of specialized missions of Ukrainian IT companies to the countries included in the project as soon as the quarantine restrictions are eased.

IT Ukraine Association is the largest professional association of Ukrainian service and product companies, representing the interests of more than 50,000 IT specialists. As of March 2021, the association represents the interests of 54 IT companies and more than 52,000 IT professionals.
