Military levy adds UAH 13.8 bln to state budget in January

In January 2026, Ukrainians paid UAH 13.8 billion in military levy to the state budget, 30% more than in the same month last year.

The State Tax Service reported the figures, according to Ukrinform.

“Taxpayers transferred UAH 13.8 billion in military levy in January 2026 to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For comparison, a year earlier the amount was UAH 10.6 billion — an increase of 30%,” the statement said.

Kyiv led contributions with UAH 4.4 billion, followed by Dnipropetrovsk region with UAH 1.5 billion, Lviv region with UAH 1.1 billion, and Kharkiv region with UAH 0.9 billion.

As reported earlier, revenues from the military levy to the general fund of the state budget in 2025 rose 3.2 times compared to 2024, reaching UAH 163.6 billion.
