Heating and hot water tariffs will not increase until the end of the heating season, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said.

"We held a meeting with the Association of Ukrainian Cities, Naftogaz, and town heads. Following the meeting, it was decided that tariffs for heating and hot water will not increase during this heating season," Shmyhal said at a regular government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He recalled that Ukraine has set the maximum tariff for gas distribution, which will not exceed 1 hryvnia 79 kopecks per 1 cubic meter. “But for many Ukrainians, it will be below this amount,” the PM added.
