Energoatom generates more than a half of Ukrainian electricity in Q1 2017

The output of electricity by Ukraine's National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom in the first quarter of 2017 totaled 22.447 billion kWh, which is 57.2% of general electricity output in the country, the company’s press service reports.

"Electricity production over the first three months of 2017 amounted to 22,477 billion kWh, which is 57.2% of the total output in the country. In March, a share of Energoatom in the total electricity output in Ukraine was 62.1%," reads a report.

At the same time, underproduction of electricity due to absence of demand (balance restrictions) in the first quarter of 2017 came to 1.094 billion kWh.
