Ukrinform
The Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU), jointly with the World Bank, plans to represent a pilot project on competition development in Ukraine.

Chairman of the Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine Yuriy Terentyev said during an open meeting dedicated to the results of committee’s work in 2016, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“I met with the leaders of the World Bank Group in Washington, who are involved in the development of competition policy. And I proposed that a similar project be developed in Ukraine, as we had such plans back in 2010,” he said.

According to the AMCU chairman, the pilot project will be launched as soon as this year.

"We’ve just started our cooperation, so the long-term program with the World Bank, unfortunately, hasn’t been signed yet, but in the middle of summer, somewhere in July, we should jointly develop the first draft of the competition development program," Terentyev said.
