Ukrainian dairy index shows record growth in last four years – FAO

In October 2016, Ukrainian dairy index showed a record growth in last four years.
This is stated in the report of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), with reference to economist of the FAO investment department Andriy Yarmak, Ukrinform reports.
"The Ukrainian dairy index grew by 20.4% in just one month. Such speedy growth was last time recorded in September of 2013," Yarmak said.
According to the FAO, this was reasoned by growth of purchasing prices for milk against the background of lower cost of feed ration.
