First Ukrainian electrical bus "Elektron" presented in Lviv
The press service of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine reports.
"On his working visit to the Lviv region infrastructure minister Andriy Pyvovarsky visited one of the enterprises of Electron corporation accompanied by the Lviv region governor Oleh Syniutka and Lviv mayor Andriy Sadovy. They familiarized themselves with the processes of electric public vehicles," a statement said.
A new product of the corporation - the first in Ukraine electric bus "Electron" model E19101, a model of environment-friendly transportation of new generation, was demonstrated to the minister. Also, the advanced low floor T5B64 «Electron" tram was presented that will be operated in Kyiv.
The electrical bus can transport 100 passengers. Its interior is equipped with essential devices to facilitate transportation of persons with disabilities. The bus can reach the speed of up to 70 kilometers per one hour and drive 200 kilometers on one charge. The blueprint envisages air conditioner for any weather, and kneeling function – to reduce clearance for easy boarding.
