PKP Polish railroad operator set to launch train service on Warsaw-Lviv and Przemysl-Lviv routes
The Rynek kolejowy rail web portal reports.
"A few days ago PKP Intercity said that on December 13 it will launch a direct night train Warsaw – Lviv," a statement said.
Also, the Polish operator plans to launch an additional pair of trains Przemysl-Lviv-Przemysl on Dec. 19.
The train departs from Lviv at 8.10 and arrives to Przemysl at 9.48. From Przemysl the train departs at 17.50 and arrives in Lviv at 21.25, which allows passengers to change trains for the night Kyiv bound trains that pass through Ternopil, Vinnytsia Khmelnytsky, and the Odesa bound trains passing through Kotovsk and Zhmerynka or the Kharkiv bound trains passing through Kyiv and Poltava. "The only scheduled stop is at the Mostyska II border crossing train station," the website notes.
