UkrAVTO to sell Maserati models in Ukraine

KYIV, March 27 /UKRINFORM/. UkrAVTO Corporation and Maserati S.p.A. signed a general distribution agreement, under which the Ukrainian Automobile Corporation acquired the status of the exclusive importer of the legendary car brand in Ukraine, UkrAVTO press office said in a statement Wednesday.

"UkrAVTO Corporation acquired the exclusive right to carry out sales and after sales service of Maserati cars in Ukraine. Maserati will present on the Ukrainian market new models, including the all-wheel drive versions, thanks to which the brand will gain a special attraction for Ukrainian customers," said Heribert Muller, UkrAVTO Vice President, responsible for the development of new automobile projects.

He predicts that the Italian brand will rightfully occupy an important place in the premium segment of the Ukrainian automobile market. "In the short term the company plans to expand the dealer network in the regions. We see great opportunities for the brand in Ukraine," he noted.

The official opening of the new general representation - Maserati dealership on the Stolychne Shose will take place in mid-April 2013. As part of the opening ceremony, there will be a grand premiere of the brand new Maserati Quattroporte.
