Two killed, four injured in Russian attacks across Donetsk region over past day

Russian forces shelled settlements across the Donetsk region 27 times over the past day, killing two civilians, injuring four others, and damaging residential buildings and other infrastructure.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin.

“In Mykolaivka, three private homes were damaged. In Kramatorsk, one person was killed and two others injured, while a vehicle was damaged. In Serhiivka, part of the Andriivka community, an outbuilding and a pharmacy sustained damage. In Druzhkivka, one person was killed and three others injured; a multi-story residential building, a private house, an administrative building, and a vehicle were damaged,” Filashkin wrote.

According to the regional governor, private homes were also damaged in Riznykivka and Sviato-Pokrovske.

“In total, Russian forces shelled populated areas of the Donetsk region 27 times during the past 24 hours. A total of 526 people, including 76 children, were evacuated from frontline areas,” he noted.

As reported earlier by Ukrinform, Russian attacks on the previous day killed six civilians and injured 19 others in the Donetsk region.
