KYIV, May 31 /UKRINFORM/. The Russian leadership has agreed in the near future to revisit the issue of revising gas contracts with Ukraine of 2009, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Thursday.
"The Russian leadership has agreed to seriously consider the arguments of the Ukrainian side on Russian gas supplies to Ukraine, and return shortly to the issue of revising the contract, which obviously places Ukraine into unequal competitive conditions," Azarov emphasized.
He added that the sides agreed to hold the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee on Economic Cooperation on June 27 in Donetsk.
