Ukrainian intelligence officers participate in Breeze 2021 exercise

Ukrainian intelligence officers participate in the Breeze 2021 international naval exercise, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has reported on Facebook.

"Some 30 combat and support ships and boats, three aircraft, eight helicopters, and about 2,000 servicemen will take part in the international maneuvers," the report reads.

The main part of the exercise involved military personnel from 14 countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Belgium, Great Britain, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Spain, Latvia, Poland, Romania, USA, Turkey, and Ukraine.

Breeze 2021 will be led by a general headquarters located at the naval base of the Bulgarian Navy in Varna.

Participants in the exercise will enhance interoperability and practice joint missions.

As Ukrinform reported, the Cossack Mace 2021 international military exercise started in Ukraine on July 12 and will last until July 24.
