SMM spots howitzers, mortar and tanks in occupied Donbas
The OSCE SMM said this in a report issued on January 28, based on information from the monitoring teams received as of 19:30 on January 27, 2020.
“On January 26, an SMM mini-UAV spotted four towed howitzers (D-30 Lyagushka, 122mm) and two self-propelled howitzers (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm) near Bile (22km west of Luhansk) and a mortar (2S9 Nona-S, 120mm) near Holubivka (formerly Kirovsk, 51km west of Luhansk). On the same day, a long-range UAV recorded a tank (T-64) near Novoselivka (16km west of Luhansk) and a probable mortar (type undetermined) near Nyzhnie Lozove (59km north-east of Donetsk)," the report says.
The next day, the Mission patrol spotted three towed howitzers (D-30 Lyagushka, 122mm) in Novohryhorivka (33km west of Luhansk). The weapons were placed in violation of the withdrawal lines in non-government-controlled areas.
The Ukrainian side of the JCCC said that the armed formations of the Russian Federation once again demonstrated their reluctance to comply with the Minsk agreements.
