War update: 192 clashes on front line, Pokrovsk sector remains hottest

On June 15, there were 192 combat engagements between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian troops, with the highest number of attacks recorded in the Pokrovsk sector.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released the operational update as of 22:00 on Facebook.

"A total of 192 combat engagements occurred since the beginning of the day. The enemy carried out one missile strike using 70 missiles and 58 airstrikes, dropping 157 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 6,222 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,085 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions," the report said.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out 43 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including one with multiple launch rocket systems. Three assault attempts were recorded.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops attacked six times toward Starytsia, Izbytske, Vovchansk, and Vovchanski Khutory, with two assaults still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk sector, one assault was recorded toward Kurylivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 16 enemy assaults in the areas of Zarichne, Lyman, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Dibrova, Novomykhailivka, and Yampil. Three of these attacks are still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian troops launched 10 assaults toward Rai-Oleksandrivka as well as near Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Zakitne.

No offensive actions were reported in the Kramatorsk sector.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces carried out 10 assaults against Ukrainian defensive positions near Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, and Vіlne, as well as toward Kostiantynivka and Bilytske.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian troops launched 22 assaults, attempting to advance toward numerous settlements, including Dobropillia, Novyi Donbas, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Zatyshok, Shevchenko, Myrne, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Muravka, and Novopavlivka. Three of these attacks are still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, 36 enemy troops were killed and 10 wounded in this sector today. Four vehicles were destroyed. In addition, five vehicles, two artillery systems, and 67 enemy shelters were damaged. A total of 235 UAVs of various types were destroyed or jammed.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, three assaults were recorded near Novoselivka, Kalynivske, and Oleksandrohrad.

In the Huliaipole sector, 16 enemy assaults were recorded, with two still ongoing. Russian forces carried out attacks toward Zlahoda, Dobropillia, Radisne, Rivnopillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Dolynka, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, five assaults were recorded near Pavlivka, Stepnohirsk, and Stepove.

In the Dnipro River sector, Russian troops attacked toward Antonivka.

The General Staff said there were no significant changes on other fronts.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russia’s total combat losses since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, up to June 15, 2026, are estimated at around 1,384,190 personnel.
