Militants launched 34 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 34 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

In Luhansk direction, militants used small arms to shell Ukrainian positions near Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk) and Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk). Ukrainian serviceman was killed in the militants’ shelling of Ukrainian stronghold outside Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk).

In Donetsk direction, illegal armed formations fired at Ukrainian troops near Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), using grenade launchers. Southern outskirts of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) came under mortar, grenade launcher and small arms fire. Terrorists also used mortars to fire at ATO troops near Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk) and Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk).

In Mariupol direction, militants used small arms to shell Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol). ATO troops also came under grenade launcher fire outside Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol).
