OSCE calls on all sides of Donbas conflict to refrain from confrontational statements

“I call on all sides to engage constructively in using existing negotiating formats, particularly the Trilateral Contact Group, to express their interests and resolve concrete issues that concern the people living in eastern Ukraine”, Foreign Minister Kurz said in a statement, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

He also said he is “concerned about the provocative rhetoric we heard from Donetsk” regarding the declaration” of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" calling for the creation of a new entity ("Malorossiya") on the sovereign territory of Ukraine.

Foreign Minister Kurz also urged the sides “to refrain from any confrontational statements or actions jeopardizing the implementation of the Minsk agreements and challenging the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”.
