Militants launched 22 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

In Mariupol direction, militants used grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions in Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk). Terrorists also launched attacks on ATO troops outside Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), using heavy machine guns.

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants fired at Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

In Luhansk direction, Ukrainian troops came under 82mm mortar fire in Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk). Militants also used heavy machine guns to launch provocative attacks on Ukrainian strongholds outside Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk) and Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk).
