Russian attacks leave one civilian killed, three injured in Kherson region
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“On May 9, 2026, Russian forces struck settlements across the Kherson region with artillery and drones. As of 17:30, it was recorded that as a result of Russian aggression, one person was killed and three others were injured,” the statement said.
According to the report, throughout the day, Russian forces attacked the village of Nezlamne with strike drones, killing a 58-year-old woman. Another man was injured. Both victims were outdoors at the time of the attack.
In addition, one person each was injured in the settlements of Komyshany and Tomyna Balka as a result of enemy drone strikes.
Private houses, apartment buildings, a hospital building, garages, and vehicles were also damaged.
Law enforcement officers are continuing to document the consequences of the shelling and collect evidence of war crimes committed by the armed forces of the aggressor state.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched under Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
