Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,130 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces from February 24, 2022, to May 8, 2026, in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,339,190 personnel, including 1,130 troops lost over the past day.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
Russia has also lost: 11,919 (+1) tanks, 24,538 (+17) armored combat vehicles, 41,630 (+91) artillery systems, 1,778 (+2) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,370 (+5) air defense systems, 435 (+0) aircraft, 352 (+0) helicopters, 1,344 (+8) ground robotic systems, 279,729 (+1,817) operational-tactical UAVs, 4,585 (+0) cruise missiles, 33 (+0) warships/boats, 2 (+0) submarines, 94,879 (+334) vehicles and fuel tankers, 4,173 (+1) units of special equipment.
