The UK has experienced widespread rail service disruptions due to a malfunction in the radio system, which is critical for coordinating train movements.

According to Ukrinform, Sky News reported this.

“National Rail says major disruption is expected until the end of the day in southern England after a radio system fault,” the statement reads.

The problem has almost been resolved, but passengers should still expect delays and cancellations.

Several rail services affected by today’s disruptions have issued separate advisories to passengers regarding inconveniences and schedule changes. According to preliminary estimates, the rail disruptions will last at least until the end of the day.

National Rail noted that the problem is related to a technical malfunction in the radio communication system, which is critical for coordinating train traffic.
