Injury toll in Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia rises to 43

In Zaporizhzhia, the number of people injured as a result of the Russian strike on May 5 has increased to 43, with 18 currently hospitalized.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.

“Eighteen people are in hospitals, including four in serious condition: the number of injured is increasing following yesterday’s enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia,” Fedorov said.

A total of 43 people aged between 20 and 66 have sought medical assistance. Eighteen injured individuals have been hospitalized.

Doctors assess the condition of four patients as serious, while 14 are in moderate condition.

Other victims are receiving outpatient treatment after medical assistance.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, earlier it was known that 37 people were injured in Zaporizhzhia as a result of Russian GAB bombs and drone attacks on May 5; 12 people were killed.
