The Russian command has decided to involve all mobilized personnel in combat operations on Ukrainian territory, including those recruited in temporarily occupied Crimea, despite earlier assurances that they would not be sent to the front.

The spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn, stated this during a television broadcast, according to a correspondent from Ukrinform.

"Regarding Crimea, according to our intelligence, the enemy's General Staff has decided that all mobilized personnel will participate in combat operations on Ukrainian territory, including those mobilized from Crimea. Previously, the Russian command promised they would not fight, but they are being assigned to the 810th Separate Marine Brigade, which is stationed in Kursk," he said.

According to Voloshyn, the mobilized from the peninsula are being incorporated into marine units that are already engaged or preparing to take part in combat operations.

"They are mobilized into their so-called Crimean brigade, formed in Crimea, including those recruited from there. They will fight – and we will destroy them," he stated.

As previously reported, according to a report by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Russian command may deploy all mobilized personnel currently in temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as other temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, to replenish units that have suffered losses on the front.
