Russians strike Zaporizhzhia region 780 times over past day, leaving one killed, seven injured

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 780 strikes on 39 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and seven others were injured as a result of enemy attacks on the Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported this on Telegram.

According to him, Russian troops carried out 15 airstrikes on Veselianka, Hryhorivka, Novooleksandrivka, Liubytske, Mykilske, Orikhiv, Shyroke, Kopani, Novoselivka, Charivne, Vozdvyzhivka, Dolynka, and Rivne.

A total of 558 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Novomykolaivka, Malokaterynivka, Chervonodniprovka, Novooleksandrivka, Lysohirka, Vilnianka, Mariivka, Dolynske, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Lukianivske, Pavlivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Myrne, Charivne, Sviatopetrivka, Zelene, Olenokostiantynivka, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, and Nove Zaporizhzhia.

Four attacks with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) were recorded against Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, and Myrne.

In addition, 203 artillery strikes targeted Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Lukianivske, Pavlivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Sviatopetrivka, Zelene, Varvarivka, and Dobropillia.

Authorities received 71 reports of damage to homes, infrastructure facilities, and vehicles.

As reported earlier, Russian troops also attacked the Zaporizhzhia district overnight, injuring four civilians.
