Sappers deactivate Russian drone that fell on ice of Kyiv Reservoir
According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service reported this.
The operation to remove and destroy the explosive device was carried out under challenging conditions: The drone fell a long distance from the shore, and the unstable ice cover posed an additional threat to personnel, making it impossible to move safely on foot.
The task was assigned to a rescue team. Pyrotechnicians were transported to the site where the enemy UAV was detected in a special Bohun snow-and-swamp vehicle.
Specialists carried out the controlled destruction of the drone in compliance with all safety protocols.
As reported by Ukrinform, in January, divers and sappers found about 1.5 kg of explosives in a lake in the Kyiv region.
