Rescuers destroy warhead of Russian Kh-101 missile in Mykolaiv region
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the SES in the Mykolaiv region on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
It is noted that despite difficult weather conditions, SES pyrotechnic units continue to respond to calls. Recently, bomb disposal experts destroyed the warhead of a Kh-101 missile that had been found in a field in the Pervomaisk district.
“We understand that safety will not wait. Weather is only a circumstance, while our goal is to make territories safe,” the SES emphasized.
Overall, since the start of the war, SES sappers have recovered and destroyed 31,340 items of ordnance and surveyed more than 12,226 hectares of territory. This includes de-occupied land and areas of the region that were in active combat zones and subjected to enemy attacks.
Rescuers also released a video showing the results of the missile disposal work carried out in difficult weather conditions.
As Ukrinform previously reported, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, diver-sappers in the Mykolaiv region have surveyed more than 3,150 hectares of water areas, from which 154 items of ordnance were recovered.
