Russians launch more than 100 strikes on Sumy region; one woman injured

Over the course of 24 hours, from the morning of April 8 to the morning of April 9, Russian forces launched over 100 strikes on 36 settlements in 18 territorial communities of the Sumy region; one woman was injured.

According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook.

In the Sumy community, a 33-year-old woman was injured as a result of a Russian drone strike.

The highest number of strikes was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

The enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs.

In the Esman community, private residential buildings and farm structures were destroyed.

In the Shalyhyn community, a private residential building was destroyed, and a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

In the Znob-Novhorod community, private residential buildings were destroyed, and a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

In the Hlukhiv community, a non-residential building and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged.

In the Shostka community, private residential buildings and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged.

In the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

In the Bereza community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

In the Trostianets community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

In the Bilopillia community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

In the Vorozhba community, a non-residential building was damaged.

In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a store building was destroyed, and a car was damaged.

In the Sumy community, an apartment building, private homes, and passenger cars were damaged.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the evening of April 8, Russian forces attacked the Stetskivka village community in the Sumy region with drones. Two cars were damaged, and the owner of one of them was injured.
