Air Defense Forces neutralize Kinzhal missiles attacking Lviv

Lviv was under attack from Russian Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, and air defense systems are operating in the city.

This was reported on Telegram by the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi.

“Attention! There are reports of a Kinzhal heading toward Lviv! Everyone to the shelters!” the message reads.

Sadovyi later added that the Air Defense Forces neutralized the Kinzhal missiles that attacked Lviv. Currently, there is no information about damage or casualties.

“At around 2:40 p.m., two enemy Kinzhal missiles were flying toward Lviv. The Air Defense Forces neutralized them. This is a titanic task. We thank our defenders for their protection,” he said.

According to Sadovyi, there is currently no information on damage or casualties. City services are inspecting the community's territory.

Earlier, an air raid alert was declared throughout Ukraine due to the takeoff in Russia of a MiG-31K, a carrier of Kinzhal missiles.
