War update: 137 clashes on frontline, Pokrovsk sector remains hottest

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00 on February 6, 2026, according to Ukrinform.

“Since the beginning of the day, 137 combat clashes have occurred. The enemy carried out one missile strike using seven missiles, 59 airstrikes, dropped 151 guided bombs, deployed 4,631 kamikaze drones, and conducted 2,358 attacks on settlements and our troops’ positions,” the report stated.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out two airstrikes and 75 artillery and missile attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including one from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the Russians attempted five assaults on Ukrainian positions near the village of Prylipka.

In the Kupiansk sector, no enemy offensive actions were recorded.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks in the areas of Drobysheve, Stavky, Lyman, and Tverdokhlibove. One engagement is ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 enemy attempts to advance toward Yampil, Platonivka, Kryva Luka, and toward Dronivka, Zakitne, and Riznykivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, no enemy offensive actions were recorded.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy launched nine attacks toward Ukrainian positions near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Berestok, Illinivka, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka. Three clashes are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces carried out 40 attacks. According to updated information, they attempted to advance near Vilne, Zatyshok, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodnie, Molodetske, Dachne, Filiia, Shevchenko, and toward Toretske. Six clashes are still ongoing. Preliminary estimates indicate that Ukrainian forces eliminated 46 enemy combatants, wounded 30, destroyed or suppressed 156 UAVs, damaged one armored combat vehicle, six vehicles, and destroyed 12 enemy personnel shelters.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled five enemy attacks near Ivanivka, Zlahoda, Zelenyi Hai, and Verbove.

In the Huliaipole sector, 19 enemy attacks occurred near Huliaipole and toward Zelene, Sviatopetrivka, Pryluky, Staroukrainka, and toward Zaliznychne. Six clashes are ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Prymorske. Fighting continues.

In the Prydniprovske sector, no enemy offensive actions were recorded.

No significant changes were reported in other sectors of the front.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that last week, dozens of drones were detected near the Chernobyl and Rivne nuclear power plants.
