Russian troops shell Chernihiv region 42 times over past day, targeting communications facilities
Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, stated this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
It is noted that there were several hits in the city of Semenivka, which the enemy attacked using "Molniya" drones and FPV drones. As a result, residential buildings, vehicles, and a power line were damaged.
"Another target was communications facilities in the border area," Chaus wrote.
In addition, in the evening there were repeated strikes by "Geran" drones on an agricultural cooperative in a village of Chernihiv district. As a result, an administrative building was destroyed by fire, and a corn and sunflower seed storage hangar, as well as a tractor, were damaged.
Chaus added that over the past week, defenders shot down 335 drones in the skies over Chernihiv region.
As previously reported, Russian troops attacked Chernihiv region 41 times the day before yesterday, damaging buildings and vehicles.
