Two people killed and 24 injured in enemy attacks in Kharkiv region
This was reported on Facebook by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, according to Ukrinform.
“Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and six settlements in the Kharkiv region were hit by enemy strikes. As a result of the shelling, two people were killed, and 24 were injured, including one child,” Syniehubov wrote.
According to him, 19 of the total victim toll are residents of Kharkiv.
In Prudianka, Derhachi community, a 70-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman were killed, and two 65-year-old women, a 59-year-old woman, and a 68-year-old woman were injured. In Spodobivka, Shevchenkove community, a 26-year-old man was injured.
The enemy actively used various types of weapons in the Kharkiv region, including 21 Geran-2 UAVs (exact number is being determined), two FPV drones, and 25 UAVs (type currently is being determined).
As a result of Russian aggression, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed. In Kharkiv, five apartment buildings and 21 private houses, 66 cars, 20 garages, power lines, two civilian enterprises, and the windows of a college and a hospital maternity ward were damaged.
In Spodobivka, Kupiansk district, a residential trailer was damaged; in Kharkiv district, a car was damaged (village of Prudianka), two cars (town of Derhachi), and a garbage truck (village of Ruska Lozova).
In the Lozova district, the roof of a farm building was damaged (Novomykolaivka village), and in the Chuhuiv district, a car was damaged (Prolisne village).
The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 65 people during the day. A total of 17,142 people have been registered at the point since it began operating.
Over the past day, 136 combat clashes were recorded. In the South Slobozhanshchyna sector, our troops stopped five enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka, Vovchanski Khutory, Ambarne, and toward the settlement of Nesterne.
In the Kupiansk direction, our soldiers repelled an enemy attack toward Petropavlivka yesterday.
As reported, on January 22, five people were injured as a result of shelling in the Kharkiv region.
