Russian forces shell 28 settlements in Kherson region over past day, two civilians injured

On January 10, Russian troops shelled 28 settlements in the Kherson region, injuring two civilians.

Kherson Region Governor Oleksandr Prokudin said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Yesterday, enemy drone terror, air strikes, and artillery shelling targeted Oleksandrivka, Stanislav, Ukrainka, Beryslav, Liubymivka, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Antonivka, Kizomys, Prydniprovske, Sofiivka, Veletenske, Novodmytrivka, Dniprovske, Zymivnyk, Burhunka, Vesele, Virivka, Mykolaivka, Novotiahynka, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Osokorivka, Sadove, Tiahynka, Shliakhove, Shyroka Balka, and the city of Kherson," he said.

According to Prokudin, Russian forces struck critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas in communities across the region, damaging two apartment buildings and ten private houses. Special equipment and civilian vehicles were also destroyed.

Prokudin also added that three people were evacuated yesterday from liberated communities of the region.

On January 9, Russian forces shelled a hospital in Kherson's Dniprovskyi district, wounding medical staff.
