As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced on Telegram by the 11th Army Corps of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the situation in the Sloviansk sector remains difficult but is under the control of the Defense Forces.
Units of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, and the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade are conducting defensive operations in the areas of Serebrianka, Dronivka, Sviato-Pokrovske, Zvanivka, Pazene, Siversk, and Pereizne. Due to significant losses, political motivations, and the inability to implement their declared plans, the invaders were forced to commit additional resources. In particular, the arrival of approximately 1,500 Russian military personnel has been recorded, who are planned to be used to intensify assault actions.
“The primary task of our units remains the timely detection and destruction of the enemy despite worsening weather conditions,” Ukrainian soldiers emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, according to Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Russia has increased its personnel to 710,000 for a strategic offensive operation.
