Russian forces strike Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs, six injured

Russian forces carried out an airstrike on Zaporizhzhia, hitting industrial facilities.

Zaporizhzhia Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy attacked several enterprises in Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs. Information on casualties is being clarified," the statement said.

Monitoring channels had earlier warned of the threat of such strikes, and an air raid alert was declared.

Later, Fedorov specified that at least six people were injured in the attack. All were hospitalized.

According to him, residential buildings, a service station, and a car wash were damaged.

The city also came under drone attack, with explosions heard and air defense systems active.
