Russian drone attacks car in Kharkiv region, two civilians injured

Russian forces attacked a car with a drone near the settlement of Kozacha Lopan in Kharkiv region, injuring the driver and the passenger.

As reported by Ukrinform, Head of the Derhachi Municipal Military Administration, Viacheslav Zadorenko announced this on Telegram.

“Today around 10:00, the Russians struck a civilian vehicle with a drone as it was attempting to enter Kozacha Lopan. As a result of the hit, two men aged 36 and 39 – the driver and the passenger – were injured,” the statement reads.

The victims sustained concussions and traumatic brain injuries; the 36-year-old man also suffered an open fracture of the left shin. Both were hospitalized in a Kharkiv hospital in moderate condition.

Zadorenko added that both men are residents of Kharkiv and did not live in Kozacha Lopan. The purpose of their trip to the settlement is currently unknown.

As reported earlier, on November 29, in the village of Bashylivka, Blyzniuky community of Kharkiv region, women aged 67, 65, and 73 suffered acute stress reactions after a strike by an enemy UAV.
