The minister stated that today, the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Ternopil regions were massively attacked by Russia.

Approximately 500 rescuers and over 100 pieces of equipment are working at nine active locations.

Klymenko noted that two nine-story residential buildings were damaged in Ternopil. One is on fire, and the other has been ruined from the third to the ninth floor.

As of 10:00 a.m., ten people are known to have been killed and 37 injured, including 12 children. Rescuers continue to evacuate people from blocked apartments.

“There are people under the rubble. We are working as carefully as possible — every minute can mean a life saved,” Klymenko said.

According to the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he has delegated Andriy Danyk, Head of the State Emergency Service, to Ternopil. He constantly monitors the progress of the rescue operations and reports to the state leadership.

“We are involving aviation, mobile rapid response centers, the Delta system, dog handlers, and heavy engineering equipment. We are bringing in forces from neighboring regions. Psychologists are also working on-site. The Points of Invincibility have been set up, and mobile kitchens are providing people with hot meals,” the minister said.

As Klymenko emphasized, police are recording every piece of evidence of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation against civilians. Tents have been set up where victims can file reports and seek help.

He noted that the police may restrict access to damaged facilities and called for compliance with the established rules, as this is solely for the safety of people and the preservation of property.

Klymenko added that three people, including two children, were injured in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. In the Lviv region, firefighting operations are continuing at several warehouse locations with a total area of over 10,000 square meters. All of these are civilian facilities.

According to the Minister of Internal Affairs, the State Emergency Service continues emergency rescue operations.
