Air Defense Forces destroy 61 out of 80 Russian drones

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the press service of the Air Force Command on Telegram.

"On the night of November 5 (from 7:00 p.m. on November 4), the enemy attacked with 80 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of combat UAVs from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation); about 50 of them were Shaheds. According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m., Air Defense Forces shot down/jammed 61 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country," the report said.

As noted, 18 combat UAVs were recorded hitting 7 locations, as well as the fall of downed (debris) at 2 locations.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Air Force said.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, to November 5, 2025, in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,145,670 soldiers, including 900 servicemen over the past day.
