Ukrainian Navy carries out missile strike on Oryol TPP, substation in Novobryansk

The Ukrainian Navy has conducted a missile strike that disabled the Oryol Thermal Power Plant and an electrical substation in Novobryansk, Russia.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Navy reported this on Facebook.

"Units of the Ukrainian Navy carried out an accurate missile strike with Neptune cruise missiles on the Oryol Thermal Power Plant and the Novobryansk electrical substation," the statement said.

Both facilities supplied power to military enterprises in the region, so their destruction dealt a serious blow to the logistics of the Russian occupying forces.
