Russians attack Kherson region with artillery, mortars, and drones, one dead and several wounded

Russians attacked the Kherson region with artillery, mortars, and drones throughout the day, killing one man, injuring five, and damaging private and apartment buildings, a medical facility, warehouses, a store, and cars.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

“According to the investigation, on October 30, 2025, the occupying army attacked settlements in the region with artillery, mortars, and various types of drones,” the report said.

As of 5:30 p.m., one person was known to have been killed and five wounded.

In particular, at around 2:15 p.m., Russian troops fired on Kherson with artillery weapons. Five people who were in the strike zone were injured. Medics tried to resuscitate one of the seriously injured, but the 65-year-old man died.

At 2:45 p.m., the enemy shelled the territory of a hospital in the regional center. A patient at the facility was wounded by shrapnel from an artillery shell that pierced the wall.

Private and apartment buildings, a medical facility, warehouses, a store, and vehicles were also damaged.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation into the commission of war crimes has been launched.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops shelled a medical facility in downtown Kherson, injuring an 83-year-old patient.

A 65-year-old man wounded as a result of Russian artillery strikes on the center of Kherson died in the hospital, and a 61-year-old woman was also wounded.

In Kherson, another 61-year-old woman was wounded as a result of shelling in the city center. She suffered post-concussion syndrome, explosive and closed head injuries. Two 44-year-old employees of the Kherson City Military Administration were also injured.
