Ukraine’s SOF destroy Russian fuel depot in Luhansk region

Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SOF) have destroyed a fuel and lubricant storage facility and a Russian fuel depot in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region.

The SOF command reported this on Facebook, releasing accompanying video footage, Ukrinform saw.

“Overnight on October 27, units of the Special Operations Forces successfully struck Russian forces supply facilities. The fuel and lubricant warehouse and fuel depot were located in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, Ukraine,” the post reads.

SOF drones struck the target while the tanks were fully loaded, amplifying the effect.

“The Special Operations Forces continue to carry out asymmetric strikes against the enemy to accelerate the halt of its offensive efforts,” the statement added.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, operators of the 8th Special Operations Regiment entered Russian-controlled territory in Donetsk region, eliminated a Russian group, and seized communications equipment and documents.
