General Staff: 124 combat engagements on front lines in past 24 hours

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook, sharing an operational update as of 08:00 on Monday, October 27, according to Ukrinform.

According to the report, the enemy launched one missile strike and 83 airstrikes, using one missile and dropping 202 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces carried out 4,039 attack, including 74 from multiple launch rocket systems, and employed 6,190 kamikaze drones.

Russian airstrikes hit areas around the settlements of Solodke, Rivnopillia, Zaliznychne, Nechaivka, Ternuvate, Stepnohirsk, Veselianka, and Novoiakovlivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Olhivka in the Kherson region.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, one combat engagement occurred. The enemy conducted two airstrikes, dropping seven guided bombs, and carried out 154 shelling attacks, including three from MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 18 times near Vovchansk, Kamianka, Stroivka, and in the directions of Bolohivka and Dvorichanske.

In the Kupiansk sector, nine combat clashes took place. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults near the settlements of Pishchane and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy carried out eight attacks, attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses near Karpivka, Serednie, Derylove, and Torske.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled nine enemy assaults near Vyimka, Serebrianka, Siversk, Pereizne, and Fedorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, no offensive actions were recorded during the past day.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy launched 14 attacks near Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, Pleshchiivka, and toward Kostiantynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 34 enemy assaults near Ivanivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Chervonyi Lyman, Pankivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novoekonomichne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Molodetske, and toward Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrohrad sector, the enemy conducted 14 attacks near Sosnivka, Stepove, Piddubne, Oleksandrohrad, Pavlivka, Novohryhorivka, and toward Rybne.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attempts to advance near Malynivka and Zelenyi Hai.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces stopped five enemy attacks near Kamianske, Novoandriivka, Stepove, and Stepnohirsk.

In the Dnipro River sector, the enemy twice attempted to attack Ukrainian positions near the Antonivskyi Bridge but achieved no success.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, there were no signs of offensive group formations.

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian aircraft, missile, and artillery units struck eight areas of enemy personnel, weapons, and equipment concentration, as well as two artillery systems.
