Ukrainian Navy strikes Russian Black Sea Fleet military facility in Sevastopol
According to Ukrinform, the operation was announced by the Ukrainian Navy on Facebook.
“Overnight on June 11, 2026, units of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a missile strike using a Neptune coastal defense missile system against an enemy military facility in Striletska Bay in the city of Sevastopol, located in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea,” the statement said.
The Navy reported that the strike destroyed storage sites containing weapons and military equipment belonging to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.
The Navy emphasized that the systematic destruction of Russia’s military capabilities reduces its ability to conduct offensive operations at sea and complicates the implementation of its military plans.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recently struck a Russian border patrol vessel of the Svetlyak class in occupied Crimea.
