State Emergency Service reports three killed, 29 injured in Russian attack on Kyiv

“The capital has been attacked by the enemy for the second over the past 24 hours. Three people were killed,” the statement reads.
Rescuers are responding to the aftermath of a UAV strike in the Desnianskyi district, where fires broke out. At one location, a UAV hit a nine-story residential building; 13 people were rescued from the upper floors.
At another address, a UAV struck a 16-story building, shattering windows from the 1st to the 9th floors.
Reports also indicate that a UAV hit a multi-story building in the Obolonskyi district, although rescuers found no fire at the site.
As a result of the attack, 29 people were injured, including seven children. All victims are receiving medical assistance.
As previously reported, explosions were heard in the capital overnight during an enemy drone attack, and debris was recorded falling on residential buildings in the Desnianskyi district.
