Civilians injured as Russia pounds Kherson region with air and drone strikes

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin on Telegram.

"Throughout the past day, enemy drone terror, airstrikes, and artillery shelling targeted the settlements of Bilozerka, Mykhailivka, Novoraisk, Zelenivka, Komyshany, Borozenke, Kachkarivka, Oleksandrivka, Stanislav, Antonivka, Kizomys, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Sofiivka, Dniprovske, Yantarne, Tokarivka, Shevchenkivka, Burhunka, Vesele, Zmiivka, Zorivka, Zolota Balka, Kozatske, Mykilske, Mykolaivka, Mylove, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Poniativka, Tomaryne, Tiahynka, Chervonyi Maiak, and the city of Kherson," the statement said.

Russian forces struck critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas. Two apartment buildings and twelve private houses were damaged.

Private vehicles and a gas pipeline were also damaged. The gas leak has been stopped, and there are currently no fire or safety threats.

As a result of the Russian attacks, eight people were injured.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 596 strikes on 17 settlements across Zaporizhzhia region.
