Soldiers of the 3rd Brigade of Operational Assignment Spartan of the National Guard of Ukraine captured four Russian infantrymen while performing combat missions in the Pokrovsk sector.

According to Ukrinform, the National Guard reported this on Telegram.

The Russians were tasked with reaching a specific point and waiting for further orders for subsequent assault operations, the report said.

The four prisoners are Russian citizens: residents of Taganrog, Perm, Omsk, and the Irkutsk region.

Two of them signed a contract to pay off their criminal records, one under pressure while serving in the military, and the other to free his son from military service.

The Russian infantrymen voluntarily spoke about corruption in the Russian army, the attitude of commanders toward soldiers, and the large number of bodies of assault troops like themselves on the way to the Spartan positions in the Pokrovsk sector.
