Russia may send sabotage groups to Poland — CCD
This was reported by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) at the National Security and Defense Council, on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Russia may test the strength of the Polish border by sending SRG and attempting to infiltrate Polish territory,” he said.
According to him, the director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, and his subordinates have effectively announced their plans.
“The main goal of drone operations in NATO countries' airspace, as well as a possible future attempt by Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter the country, is to test the Alliance's response and attempt to influence European societies. They want to scare them and reduce support for Ukraine. It won't work,” Kovalenko added.
As reported by Ukrinform, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said that the recent violations of the airspace of Poland, Romania, and Estonia are clear evidence that Russia is testing the strength of the North Atlantic Alliance, and that the Kremlin's aggressive policy poses a real and immediate threat to European security.
