Russian attack: Damage recorded in six districts of Kyiv region

Overall, damage has now been recorded in six districts, Kyiv Regional Military Administration chief Mykola Kalashnyk said on Telegram.

"We continue to address the consequences of the combined enemy attack. Unfortunately, damage has now been confirmed in six districts of the Kyiv region," Kalashnyk said.

He said that in the Obukhiv district, the strikes damaged an apartment building, ten vehicles, garages, a private house, and an outbuilding.

In the Bila Tserkva district, warehouses, businesses, an entertainment center, a shopping mall, four private houses, outbuildings, and garages were damaged. Debris from a downed target caused a fire in a technical room of a nine-story building, partially destroying its load-bearing structures. Three more apartment buildings and eight vehicles were also damaged.

In the Fastiv district, four private houses and a bakery facility were damaged.

In the Bucha district, glass in six apartment buildings was shattered (around 1,000 windows and balcony units). Over 100 vehicles were destroyed or damaged. Fourteen private houses were damaged, three of them completely destroyed.

In the Boryspil district, eight private houses, outbuildings, garages, and two vehicles were damaged.

In the Brovary district, two private houses were damaged.

Kalashnyk noted that three people remain under outpatient treatment, including a child and two adults, and that medical personnel are providing all necessary care.

Gas supply remains cut off to residents of three apartment buildings and eight private houses in the region, affecting 586 households. Electricity is out for 2,502 households across five settlements.

"Gas and energy workers are working non-stop. By the end of the day, both gas and electricity will be restored," Kalashnyk said.

The regional governor expressed condolences to those whose homes were damaged.

"The Kyiv region is holding strong. Together with local authorities, we are helping those affected: necessary construction materials are being provided from the regional reserve fund, heating and aid points are being set up, and psychologists are working with residents. We will endure and will rebuild everything that was destroyed," he said.

Kalashnyk also expressed special gratitude to the State Emergency Service rescuers of the Kyiv region, medical personnel, police, volunteers, and business representatives.
